What is a roof certification

A roof certification is statement of opinion by a licensed Roofer, Home Inspector or General Contractor who deems the roof has a life expectancy of up to 3 years or more and should be FHA compliant. A thorough roof inspection along with attic inspection is performed to report on current condition of roofing material conditions and any deficiencies. If repairs are needed to the roofing system due to leaks, rotted facia from flashing leaks etc...then a Roof Certification will not be issued until such repairs are made.
